A few markers

Set a budget before you bet and treat it as already spent. Never bet to recover a loss. Do not bet under the influence of alcohol, fatigue or frustration. Do not talk in terms of expected winnings: over time the operator’s margin remains in its favour.

Warning signs

Staking increasing amounts to feel the same intensity, lying to those close to you about time or money committed, borrowing in order to bet, neglecting work or relationships, being unable to stop despite wanting to.

Tools available at licensed operators

Every operator licensed in France must offer deposit limits, stake limits, session-duration moderation, and temporary or permanent self-exclusion. These tools are reachable from the account area.

Voluntary exclusion

You can ask to be entered on the voluntary exclusion register held by the Autorité nationale des jeux. The entry applies across all licensed operators and casinos, for a minimum of three years.

Betting with money is strictly prohibited for minors. If a minor uses your computer, install parental controls and protect access to your accounts. Licensed operators verify the age of their customers before any withdrawal.
